A brief history
Founded in 1932 - Dept. of Wood-Chemical industries. Since 1959 - Dept. of Chemical Technology of wood. At various times, worked at the Department of 8 professors, 2 of them, the USSR State Prize winners (Vasiliy Kozlov and Boris K. Vakal). The first and only chair in the Urals on the chemical processing of wood.
