Biotechnology - the integration of science and engineering that allows determine to the fullest the characteristicsof living organisms for food production, medical drags and helps to create solution for  problems in Energy and Ecology.

Biotechnology is based on a variety of Sciences:
Physiology - the science of the functions of plant and animal organisms.
Genetics - the science of the laws and mechanisms of heredity. It is used in the field of genetic engineering.
Ecology - the science of the relationship of living organisms with the environment.Based on the study of ecological processes were developed technologies for environmental protection.
Microbiology - the science that studies microorganisms, their structure, functions and relationships. Microbiology help to improve traditional technologies and create new ones. The process in learning the field of microbiology underlie the development of two sections of biotechnology: genetic and biological engineering.
Molecular Biology and Biochemistry - these two sciences study the molecular basis of structure and function of cells. Data of these sciences are used in all sections of biotechnology.
Immunology - the science that studies the biological mechanisms of self-defense of the organism from foreign substances. Thanks to advances in immunology were created new technologies for diagnosis and treatment of diseases; developed the production and use of drugs in science.
