Field of Interest - Allocation of biologically active substances from plants that produce drugs for medicine, pharmaceuticals, perfumes, cosmetics and food industries.

Direction number 3. Biotechnology. Scientific basis and hardware design processes for microbiological treatment of vegetable raw materials. Head - Doc. Panova. Participants - Assoc. Shebalova Assoc. Terentyev, students of the department.

Field of interest - improving the processes of production of beer, spirits, champagne and other food products.

The Department developed the following technologies:

Production of fodder osaharennoy wood (Utkin, Medvedev, Panova). The technology for production of fodder osaharennoy wood tested in the Kirov region.

Production of active charcoal (Yurev). Developed and patented an efficient technique of production of active charcoal, experimental tests of activated carbons for the purification of drinking water purification and sorting in alcoholic beverage production.

Production of bioactive plant products (Shchegolev). Designed and patented technology for producing new products - fitokripov from different plant material, allowing to obtain bioactive natural supplements for therapeutic and preventive nutrition.
